Training - Discrimination in Labor Relations and Protection of Employee's Rights

The campaign #ALLFORYOUTH was conducted in all four university clubs of the association, featuring a training on the topic of 'Discrimination in Employment Relations and Protection of Employees' Rights'.

Session on "No Does Not Mean Yes"

The #ALLFORYOUTH campaign conducted sessions in all four university clubs of the association on the topic 'No Does Not Mean Yes', which focused on discussing the hidden forms of violence. The youth were introduced to various forms of violence and ways to recognize them.

Film Screening - December 6-20, 2022

The campaign #ALLFORYOUTH was conducted within the framework of the association's four university clubs, featuring screenings of films about discrimination, followed by discussions with subject matter experts.

A Meeting with a Woman Winemaker

A meeting was held with the founder of Ia’s Wines, who shared with us how to run a business in an industry dominated by the opposite gender. Additionally, they spoke about the inception and development of the winemaking idea and its history.

Georgian Ceramics

A masterclass in Georgian ceramics was held in Telavi at a site named 'Kera'. Along with the speaker, we discussed the history and potential of pottery.

Significant changes in societal attitudes are evident, but there is still much to be done for Georgians to no longer perceive people with disabilities as merely objects of charity and to fully realize that they are complete citizens entitled to equal access to education, employment, and public life. Ekaterine Dgebuadze spoke about these issues at the Tbilisi State University Equality Club.

On October 8th, a public session organized by the TSU Equality Club took place on the topic 'See, Recognize, Act!'. The meeting was led by Nina Gogokhia, a psychologist from Tbilisi's Crisis Center and a Doctor of Neuroscience. The aim of the public session was to teach young people how to identify victims of abuse just by their body language. As a result of the interaction, the students: increased their awareness about body language; discussed what constitutes congruent communication; and participated in a masterclass on smiling with eyes.

The public lecture series titled 'Fear, Anxiety, and Depression' was conducted in the form of four meetings. Through these sessions, young people were introduced to widely prevalent mental health issues, their identification methods, and expressions. The students, along with the speaker, Nona Khidesheli, engaged interactively to discuss the following topics: Causes of mental health problems in the GEN-Z generation; symptoms of anxiety and depression, forms of manifestation, common myths; and advice for assessing one's emotional state.
